From Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley – S. Maddalena, Head of the valley (1465 m) following trail marker No. 49, walk inside the valley along the cross-country skiing trail past some typical farms on the left side. The trail begins by climbing slightly. Soon the forest thins out. The trail skirts a sharp curve to the left and you reach the Kradorfer Alm hut (1704 m, refreshment possibilities).
