From Lana di Sopra/Oberlana along the irrigation channel path and Kreuzweg (Cross Path) to Tesimo

Take the bus to Lana di Sopra (“Gampenparkplatz” bus stop right by the car park on the right-hand side of the Passo Palade road near “Druckerei Gruber” printing shop). Next head briefly uphill on the Passo Palade road until after a few minutes the Brandis irrigation channel path branches off to the left to Lana di Sotto. Follow this path as far as the Restaurant Waalrast (here there is an approx. 10-minute-long detour to the idyllic waterfall). From the restaurant head downhill to the junction and here turn right onto trail no. 5 past the ruins of Castel Brandis and the golf course, and then continue on trail 5A straight on along the ancient Kreuzweg path uphill through deciduous forest. It takes a good 1 hr 30 min from the Waalrast to the 14th station on the Kreuzweg and the Tisner Mittelgebirge mountain range. Next continue straight on on trail no. 5 to the main road and follow this on the pavement for 20 minutes to the centre of Tesimo.
