Itinerary

From S. Cristina the serpentine path nr. 30 leads to Monte Pana. Once on the Monte Pana high plateau, you can enjoy the flower-filled meadows. From here, follow trail no. 528, which leads through forests ever closer to the Sassolungo. Arriving at the Emilio Comici hut, you hike at the foot of the Sassolungo through the Stone City along trail 526 to the Sella Pass.

This route does not present any particular safety risks.

At the beginning of the summer season, some sections may still be snow-covered, depending on weather conditions. Please enquire about conditions before setting off on your hike.

It is best to always have good hiking boots and a windbreaker with you. You should also pack a drink, snack and sun protection in your rucksack. 
At the junction of paths no. 528 and no. 526, a characteristic Swiss stone pine stands on a rock in the middle of a small lake. This special sight is definitely worth a photo.

Directions
Starting from the bus stop, follow the signs to Monte Pana. Past the valley station of the Monte Pana chairlift, the trail begins at the first bend. The bus stop Municipio/Rathaus is the closest bus stop and is about a 5-minute walk from the starting point.
Parking
Ideally, you can reach the starting point of the walk by public transport. Alternatively, there are parking facilities below the gym near the church or at Iman South at the Center Iman.
