It’s our duty to help protect nature and our Dolomites. We ask you to give up your car and visit the Dolomite Passes by foot, by public transport or by lift.
From S. Cristina the serpentine path nr. 30 leads to Monte Pana. Once on the Monte Pana high plateau, you can enjoy the flower-filled meadows. From here, follow trail no. 528, which leads through forests ever closer to the Sassolungo. Arriving at the Emilio Comici hut, you hike at the foot of the Sassolungo through the Stone City along trail 526 to the Sella Pass.
At the beginning of the summer season, some sections may still be snow-covered, depending on weather conditions. Please enquire about conditions before setting off on your hike.
