A beautiful ski tour with a rewarding destination: fantastic views of the Ortles and the Königsspitze.
The ski tour starts from the car park below the Hotel Glieshof. A little way out of the valley you reach the Thaneihöfe. From here, a wide path leads through the forest to the Eisawiesen. Now keep left (northwest) and continue until you reach the forest line. The following, quite clear section is finished with a steep step. The last part of the tour is very steep and undivided, it is best to ascend on the far left (west) over the gentle snow ridge until the ridge is reached. Finally (best on foot) over the ridge to the summit cross. The descent is along the ascent route.
