Nordic walking to the Thermal Baths Innichen / San Candido

Nordic Walking Moderately difficult, two-hour tour to the ancient healing baths and thermal springs of Innichen / San Candido and the Riese-Haunoldhütte / Rifugio Gigante Baranci refuge, in the middle of the forest. Return possibility by the chairlift.

Starting point: San Candido, hiking time: 2 hours, difference of level: 300 m

The chairlift Haunold/Baranci and the Riese-Haunoldhütte / Rifugio Gigante Baranci refuge are open from the beginning of June until the beginning of October and from the beginning of December until the end of March.

Itinerary
From the chairlift station in Innichen, follow hiking trail No. 105 towards Sexten. After about 1 km, switch to hiking trail No. 7 to reach the Thermal Baths in Innichen. Continuing along this path, you will arrive at the Riese Haunold Hut.

Directions

Through the Pustertal Valley to Innichen by bus, train or car. From there follow the signs to  Haunold / Monte Baranci. Park the car at the parking of the chairlift.
