On the Smugglers paths - fascinating hike along the Schlinigtal valley high mountain trail to Uina gorge, a unique trail from 1908 - 1910 hewn in rock about 900 m long.
From the valley station Watles with the chairlift to the mountain station Watles and onto the Schlinigtal valley high alpine trail no. 8A and no. 8 to the refuge Sesvennahütte (2,256 m). Follow trail no. 18 in the direction of the Schlinigpass (2,309 m) and the Swiss border (2,295 m). From the refuge Sesvennahütte the descent into the Uina gorge takes about one hour and from there continue to Sur-En; (CH - public transport www.sbb.ch), ID required!
