From Taisten, drive along the village road, pass the gothic piety column and the parish church and continue towards the Hotel Alpen Tesitin. Then turn right onto the “Guggenberg” and follow the forest road until the next crossroad. Now turn left and, after a tight right bend, reach the parking area after a few minutes. Your hike starts right here; keep following the signpost 38 A all the way to the Taistner Alm Hut 2012 m (rest point). Along your route, the beautiful Dolomites come into view frequently on your right side.
