This drinking water fountain is located in the centre of the village in Monguelfo between the Hellweger Intersport shop and the Municipality building.
The project "Mindful on the Mountain" aims to sensitise visitors and tourism professionals in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site to environmentally friendly behaviour and to create awareness for respectful and responsible behaviour on the mountain but also in everyday life. The main topics are drinking water and waste avoidance, and the project will also record water refill points along hiking and cycling trails.

Monguelfo village centre - Pustertaler Straße 10 - between the Hellweger Intersport shop and the Municipality building. -------------- Coming from Innsbruck/Brennero (A): Drive on the Highway of Brennero (A22) until the exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then go on along the SS49-E66 for about 58kms until you arrive in Monguelfo. Coming from Lienz (A): You can reach us also padding by Lienz in Westtyrol (A). You have to cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and drive on the SS46-E66 until Monguelfo.
