The Konstantiner Weiher lake, also known as “Pfarrmoos”, is one of the 7 lakes of Völs am Schlern. Nestled in an idyllic forest and meadow landscape, this lake is a beautiful destination if you are in search of peace and quiet.
This hiking tour can be found in the family hiking booklet “Out and About with Nix the Witch”.
The excursion begins at the lower side of the tourist office in Völs am Schlern (at the Landwirtschaftliche Bezugsgenossenschaft agricultural cooperative) and leads along trail no 2-12 to St. Anton. Follow the signposts for trail no. 12, past farms and over meadows, until you come to the Konstantiner Weiher lake, which is mainly used for irrigation purposes and is the ideal spot for a picnic (swimming in summer or walking on the ice surface in winter is prohibited!).
The return route leads to St. Konstantin, where a stop-off to visit the St. Konstantin church is well recommended. In St. Konstantin, you can also take the bus no. 2, 170 or 176 back to Völs or, if you prefer to walk back, return to St. Anton along the hiking path no. 11 through the wood and continue onwards to Völs.
Refreshment stop along the hiking trail. Not pram-friendly.
