You start in the Mühlental valley and follow trail marker no. 22 to the unserviced Englalm at 1,825 metres. From here, the trail becomes steeper: the ascent to Eidechsspitze at 2,730 metres requires a good level of fitness and offers sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The descent is challenging and suitable only for experienced hikers. Following trail no. 22, the route passes Kompfoss Lake and leads back down into the valley. Alternatively, you can return along the same route used for the ascent.
The tour finishes back in the Mühlental valley.
From Terenten, the road leads along Sonnbergstraße towards the Mühlental valley. Follow the road to the parking lot at the entrance to the Mühlental valley, the starting point of the tour.
