Cycle tour of approx. 55 km along the Brennero-Bolzano cycle route from Laives/Leifers along the Adige and Isarco rivers to Chiusa/Klausen and Bressanone/Brixen.
The tour starts in the centre of Laives and first leads south to the Bridge of Vadena and then north on the other side of the river, alongside the Adige and Isarco rivers past Bolzano/Bozen. The Bolzano - Brennero Cycle Route leads partly through the tunnels of the old railway line and past the villages in the Isarco Valley to the small town of Chiusa with its beautiful medieval old town. From Chiusa, the route continues along the cycle path to the centre of Bressanone. The end of the tour is reached at the Cathedral Square in the historic city centre of Bressanone. The return journey can also be made by train.
Arrival by public transport from Bolzano/Bozen: by bus with the lines 110, 111 or 120 until the bus stop "Laives Centro/Leifers Zentrum" (approx. 30 min.).
Arrival by public transport from the south: take bus line 120 to the bus stop "Laives Centro/Leifers Zentrum".
