First take the San Vigilio Cable Car to Lana, and then ride the chairlift
up to 1,814 m. Trail No. 4 is an easy path that leads from the Restaurant
Seggiovia to Restaurant Jocher and on to the San Vigilio Church.
Trail No. 9 takes you to the Laghetto Nero (Black Pond) and Restaurant
Seespitz. From there, Route No. 10 leads back the chairlift
and No. 8 leads past the outlook point. Take the chairlift again for a
comfortable and panoramic trip back to the cable car.
Getting to San Vigilio
BY BUS AND TRAIN
The Lana bus station lies in close proximity
to the valley station of the cable car. It is well
connected to public transport, with good connections
to the stations at Marlengo, Merano
and Lana/Postal.
BY CAR
Take the Merano-Bolzano (MEBO) expressway, exit at
Merano Sud and drive towards Lana. The entrance to the
valley station of the San Vigilio Cable Car is 100 m further,
on the right-hand side.
