Summit tour with unuspected views over tha Val Venosta mountains
Start of the hike is at the Montechiaro farms at 1535m. The trail no. 14 leads on mostly wide forest road along the edge of the forest until the trail no. 14 B branches off to the right. Through meadows and pastures, the route passes the unmanaged Chiggonhütte. Soon the southern ridge of the Glurnser Köpfl is reached and the route now leads along the braod ridge to the summit. Ther the hiker is rewarded with a spectacular view. The way back can be done the same way.
