THE KLOCKERKARKOPF SUMMIT EXPERIENCE
Excursion to the presumably northernmost point of Italy.
This hike requires sure footedness and physical fitness. You need also to bring good equipment, a rain shieldand a hat.
Starting from the public car park in Kasern/Casere, we will ascend on trail nr. 13 passing the Kehrer- and Lahner Alm huts, heading towards the Birnlückenhütte refuge (2,441 m); along trail nr. 13 (Lausitzer trail) until we will finally climb the peak of the Klockerkarkopf (2,912 m). The descend will again be on the Lausitzer trail, passing the former Neugersdorferhütte refuge (2,560 m) and the Tauernweg to the point of departure.
