The hike to Hofstatt Alm hut is an enjoyable and family-friendly walk starting from Antholz Niedertal. The route follows a forest road through peaceful woodland up to the idyllic alpine hut and is ideal for families with children.
Thanks to the well-maintained trail, the hike is also easily manageable with a trekking stroller.
At Hofstatt Alm hut, visitors can enjoy not only beautiful views and a cosy place to stop for refreshments, but also a small playground and two marble runs that are especially popular with children.
This tour is perfect for a relaxing half-day trip in nature.
The starting point of the hike is either the fishing pond in Antholz Niedertal or the area near Hotel Bad Salomonsbrunn.
From there, follow trail marker no. 31B. The well-maintained forest road leads steadily uphill through the forest to Hofstatt Alm.
The hike is short and family-friendly, making it ideal for families with small children and trekking strollers.
At the alpine hut, a small playground and two marble runs invite visitors to relax and play.
The return follows the same route back to the starting point.
Comfortable hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are sufficient. The tour is easy and also suitable for trekking strollers.
Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station or from Lake Antholz to the stop “Antholz Niedertal”.

From the Pustertal Valley road, turn off into the Antholz Valley and follow the road to Antholz Niedertal.
