The shortened variant of the eighth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley leads to the Tellajoch with a typical 360° panoramic view to the mountain peaks of the Ortler group and the Sesvenna group. The 360° viewing platform titles the mountainous panorama.
From there it continues with insights into the Upper Vinschgau Valleys alpine pasture to Schlinig/Slingia.
The shortened version of the eighth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Alta Val Venosta starts on the Egghof, above Tubre in Val Monastero/Taufers im Münstertal, where the hike leads up to the Tella col. Here, a viewing platform offers 360 degree views and offers unforgettable view on the surrounding mountain landscape. The hike continues to Laatscher- and Schleiseralm alpine pasture and then turns westerly from the Monterodes mountain over the pass to the village of Slingia.
On the way is a water tower and telescope, which shows views of summits and of the nature attractions to be discovered by hikers.
During the summer month the Upper Venosta hiking taxi goes up to the Egghof.
There are no refreshment points along the stage, only at the ending point in the village Slingia.
