Hike to the huts on the hunters trail

The trail downhill to the Wanseralm pasture is very steep and narrow, but quite manageable. Once down at the lake, there are several beautiful places to enjoy.

Starting point: Wans

Endpoint: Wans

Refreshment stop: Seebergalm pasture, Wanseralm pasture

Itinerary

From Wans heading south to the edge of the forest (15), pass the Sailer Hof farmstead (on the left) crossing over the bridge. Keep going south for about 1 km on the little road that enters the valley (12, 15). Now cross over the stream to the left and climb northeast at first then southeast on the access road through the woods to the Seebergalm pasture and then Seebergsee lake (15). From Seebergsee lake continue along the wooded ridge (northeast) and down the steep slope in the woods to get to the Wanseralm pasture in the Wanser Tal Valley (14a).

From the Wanseralm go down the road to reach Wans (14).
