A promising hike at the idyllic hamlet of Plazzoles/Platzers
Take the car in the direction of the Passo Palade and turn right towards Plazzoles. Drive untill you reach the parking space n°10 in Plazzoles. Starting from here you you walk through the village, passing at the Restaurant "Natz" and at the Restaurant "Rinnerhof" and continue to follow the small paved road until you see/find on left side the forest track no. 2. Now take the forest track no. 2, then 3A, which is really steep to begin with, then a very pretty gently undulating hour-long walk towards the farmhouses "Gallhöfe" with a unique view. Just before you reach the farmhouses "Gallhöfe" take forest track (no. 4) on left side, which runs in wide loops uphill until reaching the Völlaner Jagdhütte (hunting lodge; 1540 m) and continue to the Völlaner Joch (1682 m). Next turn left, continuing along trail no. 4, down to Plazzoles to the paved road on that you were walking at the beginning of this tour. On the paved road (signposted trail no. 10), turn right and walk back to your starting point.
