In the season 2007/08, the new gondola-lift "Alm-Express" was put into operation. The ultra-modern lift replaces an old chairlift and guarantees a very high level of safety, especially for families with children. The new lift costs 5.7 million euros. With its 29 eight-seater cabins over a length of 700 meters it climbs 150 meters in altitude and transports 2,400 people in an hour.
