The Gumperer Trail in Seis, at the foot of the Schlern Mountain, is a pleasure for all your senses. Here is where you can dawdle as long as you like.
Made by children, for children: the five stations invite you to discover the five senses. In a playful way, you get to know more about yourself and your surroundings. The more time you give yourself, the deeper you can dive into the wonderful world of nature, discovery and adventure.
The hike starts at the village square of Seis, from here we follow the road to St. Oswald until we get to the Peterlunger farm, where we turn left and proceed along hiking trail no. 7A until we come to the fork in the road leading to the Karlottenkofel. From here on out we follow the sign-posts as we hike slightly uphill and past the Furscherhof. Then we cross the road and continue uphill to the "Karlottenkofel", a special place of power. From here we hike on through the forest and pass the Aussergost farm, Puntschied farm, Kampideller farm, Simmelemüller farm and the Malenger mill. We continue along trail no. 7A to the Peterlunger farm, from here we return to the village centre of Seis.
