Sledging

Sledge run "Tonnerboden"

Stange/Stanghe, Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
from center

The "Tonnerboden" natural toboggan run is idyllically located in the Jaufental Valley, the quietest of the three valleys. The starting point is the hamlet of Obertal. After an easy uphill walk of about 10–15 minutes, the tobogganing fun can begin.

The leisure toboggan run is particularly popular and ideal for families. With a length of around 600 metres, it is manageable and therefore perfect for families with children. A real highlight is night tobogganing: both the leisure run and the racing run are illuminated twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm, creating a magical atmosphere after dark.

The leisure run is open to everyone.
As an extra tip for those interested: right next to it is a professionally prepared racing toboggan run, which also hosts international competitions. Training sessions are possible by arrangement with the club.
