The hiking route to the Klammljoch/Passo di Gola is not only an attractive tour in summer. In winter, it is also an insider tip for snowshoe hikers who find tranquillity and quiet in the white mountain world of the Ahrntal valley.

Itinerary
The starting point for this snowshoe hike is the Knutten car park, approx. 1.5 km behind Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures. The route first leads through the picturesque Knuttental valley up to the Knutten alp hut, which is also open in winter. After approx. an one-hour hike, you will find the first and only place to stop for refreshments on this tour. Later, the route leads to the right of the alpine pasture for about 1 hour through a small high valley up to Klammlsee/Lago di Gola. From this point on, the trail climbs a little more steeply. About 2 hours after leaving the starting point, you reach Klammlsee/Lago di Gola, located at 2243 meters. From there, it is only a few meters up to Klammljoch/Passo Gola.
