The square in front of the Ursuline monastery was named after him in 1945 as part of a festive evening dedicated to Paul Tschurtschenthaler. At that time, the name “Tschurtschenthaler-Park” was established.
From 2023 to June 2024, the park was redesigned and changed its name to Tschurtschenthaler Square
Concerts and various events take place here today.
