At Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena, Head of the valley (1465 m), there is a pay parking lot where the walk starts. Following trail marker No. 49 going into the valley, immediately after the turner´s workshop, continue straight ahead through a forest. After an hour's walk you reach the destination of the walk, the Messnerhütte hut (1660 m, refreshment possibilities).
