The hike starts at the Tiroler Kreuz (806 m) and leads along a forest path through the Spronsertal valley. Trail no. 6 leads steadily uphill to the 'Denkmal', a memorial plaque in honour of Empress Sissi, and the Longfall Restaurant (1,075 m).

Along the Bolzano/Bozen-Meran/Merano expressway to the exit Meran South-Sinich/Sinigo - Dorf Tirol/Tirolo - along the main street and Haslachstraße street to the Tiroler Kreuz.
