Beautiful hike in Matschertal valley to the idyllic mountain lake at the foot of the Saldurkamm ridge.
The hike starts from the car park of the Glieshöfe farms at the end of the Matschertal valley. Along the trail no. 9 on a wide forestry trail up to Upialm alpine pasture (2,225 m - not open to the public). At the beginning, the climb is partly steep and leads to a narrow trail up to Upisee lake (2,552 m). The way back is via the same route.
