The hiking trail to the Malga Vitelli/Kälberalm is a beautiful hiking trail of about 6.3 km length. The path runs evenly, with almost no difference in altitude and has a breathtaking panorama. The Malga Vitelli is also the starting point for the hikes to the Dossobello di Dietro and the Rifugio Serristori.
The hike to the Malga Vitelli starts in Solda/Sulden, directly next to the Hotel Marlet on path no. 19. In about 1.5 hours you reach the hut at 2,248 m. You can go back on path nr. 24, which leads to the "Waldruhe" Inn. Continuing along path no. 6 you come back to Sulden.

If you do not want to travel to Solda by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Solda in about half an hour. The bus stop is located directly in front of the Hotel Post.
From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi, then left to Solda. From Spondigna to the parking area is it approx. 20 km.
At the entrance of the village, between Hotel Bambi and Hotel Eller, there is a paid public parking lot. It offers a sufficient number of parking spaces and is easily accessible from the main road.
