Without a doubt, the Partschinser waterfall is among the loveliest in the alpine region. It is situated in the Zieltal valley, north west of Partschins/Parcines and with a drop height of around 97 meters, plunges from 1,110 meters to 1,015 meters above sea level. The Zieltal valley and its tributary valleys and various three thousand meter-plus mountains stretch out over several kilometers to the north. To the south, the Zielbach stream flows through Salten, then past Partschins/Parcines, finally joining the river Etsch/Adige between Rabland/Rablà and Töll/Tel. The waterfall is at its most powerful during the thaw from May to June, or after heavy rainfall. At these times, up to 10,000 liters of water per second find their way down into the valley.

From the mountain station of the Texelbahn cableway, follow trail n° 24 in direction Nasereit mountain hut (1,523 m). From there, the way leads beyond the n° 8B to the Steiner mountain farm (1,442 m) and Fletscher mountain farm (1,300 m). Take a left and walk the paved road into trail n° 1A, past the Prünster inn and continue along trail n° 26 to the Wasserfall inn (with a spectacular viewpoint), and from there to the famous Partschins/Parcines waterfall with a cascade of 97 m height (at 1,060 m). The way back leads along route n° 8B past the Birkenwald inn and then along n° 1 to the Winklerhof farm/inn down to the valley station of the Texelbahn cableway.
It is also possible to take the bus n° 265 from the waterfall back to Partschins/Parcines (saving approx. 40 minutes)!
