Starting from the center of Deutschnofen, the trail leads through peaceful snowy forests and fields, offering open views of the Dolomites. The quiet surroundings create space to slow down and reconnect with nature. At Wölflhof, a cozy stop with local food and warm atmosphere awaits. This is the perfect winter experience for families, nature lovers, and anyone seeking gentle outdoor adventure.
Itinerary
The hike begins in the village center of Deutschnofen, next to the church and the tourism office. Follow trail [5] heading north. After about 1 km, turn left onto trail [5A], which gently descends to the Unterkaplun farm at 1,301 m. From there, continue along the groomed cross-country ski trail until you reach the Wölflhof at 1,290 m, where you can stop for refreshments. For the return, follow the European long-distance trail [E5] toward the Gattererhof, then continue along gravel and paved roads back to the starting point in the village.
