The newly-opened "Knottnkino³" circuit trail connects the three red porphyry rocks of Vöran. Starting from the Burgstall-Vöran upper cableway station, the trail leads to the three panoramic landmarks of Vöran: the Rotstein, Beimstein and Timpfler Knott.
Start in Vöran at the mountain station of the funicular on trail nos. 1 and 12 towards Hafling. At the Eggerhof turn right and follow trail no. 14A towards Rotstein Knott with its famous Knottnkino with great views from Bolzano/Bozen to Meran/Merano, and the new seating with views in direction to Vöran. Return to the intersection and continue along Schützenbrünnlweg, just before the fairgrounds turn right to new cinema "Attimo" at the Beimstein Knott. Return on trail no. 14 towards the Grüner Baum inn, continue to the Obertimpflerhof and then turn left to cinema on the Timpfler Knott with a shadow play called "wolf". Follow the marked trail back to your starting point in Vöran village.
A trip to the Knottnkino on the Rotstein Knott is very worthwhile!

With the Funicular Burgstall-Vöran: Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano - Bozen/Bolzano (MEBO), take the exit of Lana Süd/Lana Sud and follow directions towards Burgstall/Postal. Follow Romstraße/Via Roma for about 1.5km.
With the car: Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran - Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo, follow the street to Vöran/Verano – the parking place is near the funicular Burgstall-Vöran.
Free parking place at the valley station in Burgstall and the summit station in Vöran.
