The chapel was probably built 300 to 400 years ago by the farmers of Raffein. It is a simple, small building with a round apse, a shingled roof and a wooden bell tower. The altar bears a picture of the crucifixion of Christ, below is a picture of St. Mary Magdalene. She is also the patroness of the chapel.
