Take the chairlift of the same name up to the Panorama saddle at 2012 m above sea level. Directly next to the mountain station at Alpenhotel Panorama take the south- facing path n. 2, for the time being flat through open meadows with a view of the Rosszähne in front of you, to your left the Langkofel and to your right the Schlern.
Soon the climb begins to rise to rise slightly, leading through the valley between Grunser Bühl and Goldknopf to the scree slopes of the Rosszähne.
Along the path, before you reach the entrance into the ridge of the Rosszähne, are some refreshment places off the beaten track like Hotel Goldknopf (turn left onto path n. 2A) and Refuge Sattler 2125 m – turn right on path n. 13, after approx. 200 m).
Back again on trial n. 2, a somewhat difficult assent begins. In never-ending serpentines, the narrow climb winds its way up through the scree. The bizarre teeth of the Rosszähne start looking more and more impressive. At the highest point, called the Rosszahnscharte, walk through the Rosszähne, turn right, cross now horizontally the edge and come soon to the Refuge Tierser Alpl.
For the way back we recommend the access road to Refuge Tierser Alpl down to Dialer church and then the Compatsch- Dialer church trail in reverse order.
