The queen's stage of the long-distance hike begins with the bus ride to S-Charl. This is where the long and steep ascent between "Piz Cotschen" and "Piz d'Immez" begins.
The most challenging stage starts in the small hamlet of S-Charl on the border of the Swiss National Park. After a short flat section, the steep ascent begins over the "Fora da l'Aua" between Piz Cotschen and Piz d'Immez. On the lake plateau between the "Lajet de Laschana" and the "Lai d'Immez", you cross the border to the AVS refuge Sesvenna.
