The trail is easy to walk and suitable for the whole family. It initially leads to the Schgaguler Schwaige and then continues to the Sanon Hut.
The return route follows trail no. 6, passing again by the Schgaguler Schwaige and finally reaching the Mont Sëuc mountain station.
From the top station of the Mont Sëuc cable car, walk in the direction of the Schgaguler Schwaige along trail no. 9 until you reach Hotel Sonne.
From there, take trail no. 6B to the right and continue on to the Sanon Hut.
Here you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views.
The return route begins along the forest road north of the Sanon Hut until you reach the junction with trail no. 6. Turn right there and follow the previously mentioned path back toward the Schgaguler Schwaige.
Finally, trail no. 9 leads you back to the top station of the Mont Sëuc cable car.
Plan enough time for the retourn journey and pay attention to the opening hours of the Seiser Alm cable car.
Hiking shoes
Hiking on the Seiser Alm promises breathtaking nature experiences.
Treat yourself to a good apple strudel or Kaiserschmarrn in one of the alpine huts.
Accessible by the bus line 350 from Bolzano or 360 from Bressanone to the S. Antonio square.
Accessible by the bus line 172 from Castelrotto to the S. Antonio square.
Accessible by the bus line 351 from Chiusa, Laion, S. Pietro to the S. Antonio square.
Timetables and travel information are available in the local tourist office in Val Gardena.
Accessible by foot from the centre of Ortisei.
