This easy, family-friendly hiking route passes through the meadows and forests around the village of Scena, and offers a pleasant walk that is especially popular among leisure hikers.
This trouble-free hike along the Waldweg trail that is suitable for all-comers starts in the center of Scena. To begin, the route heads left above Scena Castle along the easy Wiesenweg trail as far as the chestnut trees below Thurnerhof inn. From here the Waldweg trail winds agreeably downhill to the Riffianerweg trail and follows this route back again to the village square in Scena.
