Walk from Ortisei parish church and follow the sign posted path towards S. Giacomo and to the Dialogue Walk on the left (see excursion 11). Follow the winding path until Col de Flam. From here continue on an ascending forest path and, finally, take a right and walk up to a small church dedicated to St. Jacob. From the St. Jacob’s church, follow path no. 6 to Balest and on to Sëurasas. This is a fairly steep path, but the strenuous climb will reward you with a wonderful panoramic view of Ortisei and the Dolomites.
Plan enough time for the retourn journey.

On Seurasas you have the possibility to take a surprisingly good photo of the Sassolungo.
Accessible by the bus line 350 from Bolzano or 360 from Bressanone to the S. Antonio square. Accessible by the bus line 172 from Castelrotto to the S. Antonio square.
Accessible by the bus line 351 from Chiusa, Laion, S. Pietro to the S. Antonio square.
