From Compatsch we take the chairlift to Panorama. Immediately next to the mountain station at the Alpenhotel Panorama, we set off on the southbound trail 2, initially level throughout, through open meadowland with a view of the Rosszähne (horses teeth) in front of us, the Langkofel group on our left and the Schlern on our right. Soon the trail begins to climb slightly, leading through the depression between Grunser Bühl and Goldknopf to the scree slopes of the Rosszähne. Now begins a somewhat arduous ascent. The narrow path winds up through the scree slopes in never-ending serpentines. The bizarre jags of the Rosszähne are increasingly impressive. At the highest point called the Rosszahnscharte, we pass through the Rosszähne, as it were, turn right, cross the edge horizontally and soon arrive at the Tierser Alpl refuge.
Over the Molignon Pass we reach the Laurenzi via ferrata and arrive directly at Lake Antermoia. The hut of the same name is not far from the lake. Via the Antermoiapass, the Grasleitenpass and the Molignonpass we return to the Tierser Alpl. From here we can take the same path via the Rosszahnscharte back to the Panorama and Compatsch, or we continue via the Dialer Kirchlein Chapel and the Mahlknechthütte to the Hotel Goldknopf and thus return to our starting point.
As an alternative and to shorten the tour, it would be possible to plan an overnight stay at the refuge Tierser Alpl Hütte.
