Winery Oberschlossbauer Juval

The Oberschlossbauerhof Juval is located just above Juval Castle and is run by the Blaas/Viertler family. It has been owned by the Blaas family for around 200 years.

Wine has been grown on the quietly situated mountain farm with a unique view of the Venosta Valley mountains and Juval Castle since 1985. Riesling and Müller-Thurgau are produced at Oberschlossbauer Juval. Your hosts will give you a warm welcome in the newly built, cosy farm shop.

You can taste and enjoy the two white wines in an authentic atmosphere, directly from the centuries-old walls of the original house. The hosts will be happy to introduce you to the exciting history of the farm and the Juval hill.

Wine tasting and guided tour of the vineyard for groups on request.

A shuttle runs every 20 minutes from the Vinschgau Valley farm shop up to MMM Juval.
Directions
In the summer months from April to November, you can drive to the Venosta Valley farm shop. From there, a shuttle bus takes you up to Juval Castle and then on foot to the winery.

In winter, it is possible to drive up the tarmac road from the farm shop to the Oberschlossbauer winery.
Parking
Parking is available at the car park next to the Venosta Valley farm shop.
