Hike to the scenic Sëurasas

This trail will take you to the Sëurasas meadows, a place standing out for its lush nature and where peace and quiet reign supreme.

Sëurasas is one of the most impressive viewpoints in Val Gardena. From here you have a view over the three main villages of Val Gardena.
Itinerary
Start from the Cristauta parking space and follow path no. 4 towards San Giacomo. Take a right at the fork and follow path no. 20. Once
you reach Sëurasas, the path will continue to the summit cross boasting a spectacular view. Return on the same path to the starting point.

This route does not present any particular safety risks.

At the beginning of the summer season, some sections may still be snow-covered, depending on weather conditions. Please enquire about conditions before setting off on your hike.

It is best to always have good hiking boots and a windbreaker with you. You should also pack a drink, snack and sun protection in your rucksack.
Sëurasas is Ladin for "above the rock", the name describes the beautiful view of the Sassolungo group, Sella group, Cir peaks and the Alpe di Siusi.

Directions
The hike starts at the Cristauta car park (located between the hamlets Runcaudië and Praplan), which lies at 1750 m above S. Cristina. From the centre, follow the signs to Plesdinaz via the Cisles street and the Plesdinaz street and turn off at the sharp right-handed bend in the hamlet of Puzé. The car park is chargeable during the summer season.
