Parish church to the St. Stephen in Villandro

Villanders/Villandro, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
from center
In the parish church, several noteworthy works can be seen: the high altar from 1884, the side altars from 1903, the pulpit from 1867, and the Madonna of the Rosary, dating from the Baroque period around 1700. Of great artistic value are also the oil paintings by Franz Sebald Unterberger depicting the stoning of St Stephen, as well as the stained-glass windows created around 1520 featuring motifs of the mining lads from Villanders.
