The Leitenrundweg circular hiking trail runs through the forest beside the Mauls village. A nice panoramic view on the Isarco valley, the valley of trails, is waiting at the highest point.
Start by the house of comunity (Haus der Dorfgemeinschaft), crossing the river and on the trail along the river at the right side. Passing by a small playground, you will arrive to a forestal road. Turn left and after 100 meters take the Leitenweg trail (n° 3) at the right side. Follow the trail to the panorama point with seat bench. Descent on trail 3B to the valley bottom and return on the roman trail to the starting point. Lunch possibilities: Gasthof Jägerheim, Restaurant Romantik Hotel Stafler.
