The climbing tour on the peak of the Cima Piccola helped to the denomination of the today’s Preuß-Tower. As early as 1911, Paul Preuss discovered the logical intersection of cracks in the northeast wall of the seemingly impossible tower and realized it in an uncompromising climbing style.
The Three Peaks are the symbol of the Alta Pusteria: They belong to the most famous mountains of the Dolomites and the best known climbing destinations in the world.
