Moderatly difficult ski tour
Time of the year: Throughout winter
From the car park near the Schneeberger Brücke bridge, follow the short road on the right to the Untere Gostalm Alpine pasture to reach the water reservoir. Cross over the bridge to the left along the Breite Weg road, where there’s a hydroelectric power station. From here, turn left and ascend up the forest path to reach the Seemoos high plateau. Skirt the wide ridge to the left to reach the Schneeberg refuge. Keep right and follow the wide bends that lead up to the Kaindljoch ridge. Note: The last stretch along the trail is pretty challenging.
Descent: Same as ascent, with beautiful wide slopes for skiing down into the valley.
