This tour to the Bodenalm is perfect for nature lovers and those looking to explore the Pfunders Valley by mountain bike. The route takes you through picturesque mountain landscapes, offering a balanced mix of challenge and relaxation.
Itinerary
Start from the parking lot by the sports field in Pfunders (1,158 m) and ride along the paved road towards Dun. At the Eggerseite junction, turn and follow the old Dun road– a gravel path leading into peaceful mountain scenery. Follow the signs to the Bodenalm (1,700 m) and enjoy the fresh air and expansive views. The return follows the same path back.

Bike & Hike Tip: For added adventure, continue on foot from the Bodenalm up to the Edelraut Hut (2,545 m) – the perfect combination for those who love high-altitude experiences!
