Health path Prettau/Predoi

The path lies between 1545 m and 1620 m and is makeable easily. 

This path starts close to the Climatic Gallery in Prettau/Predoi and is 5 km long. At first it ascends lightly, passing historically and culturally evaluated places which were originally part of the old copper mine in Prettau such as a miner’s settlement, a stamp mill and the Rebecca gallery. From there the path is almost flat until the end. If interested one can try the effect of the humid-Ionic-wind at the waterfalls, which helps minimize asthma and/ or allergic reactions. Asthmatics can intensively experience strong reliefs through the healing powers of the fresh high altitude mountain air, which is not only clean but clear of toxics and low in allergens. At the natural swimming pond you can try some cold water therapy following the Kneipp principle where you strengthen your immune system by doing various walking exercises in cold water. Other stations along the Health Trail in Prettau/Predoi are: the old miners house “Mösern” with its little chapel, the “Heilig Geist” (Holy Spirit ) chapel, the pasturing area Prastmann and the Natural Park House in Kasern/Casere.
