Halfway up the Passo dello Stelvio, at bend 22, the Hotel Sotto Stelvio/Franzenshöhe invites you to take a break.
The camping site in Trafoi is the starting point for the hike to Sotto Stelvio. Following path no. 10 and then no. 13, the trail leads up to Sotto Stelvio. Path No. 12 and No. 16 leads back to the campground.

If you do not want to travel to Trafoi by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Trafoi in about half an hour. The bus stop is located next to the Hotel Bella Vista.
From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi, then ahead to Trafoi.
In order to get to the starting point, the parking area next to the Hotel Bella Vista is the most suitable.
