From the church square, take the road between the Sport Erich shop and the Tabarel restaurant. After crossing the bridge, in front of you, you will see the indication for the „Spiaggetta Ciamaor“. Once you have reached the Spiaggetta, continue along the path „Tres la Val“, which leads through meadows and forests of rare beauty for about 10km to Pederü. You can return to San Vigilio by shuttle bus or by following the same route.
A relaxed walk, perfect for the whole family: From Niederolang, the path leads through Mühlbach to Mitterolang. Part of the route runs through the forest alongside a stream – a refreshing stretch, especially on warm days.
The path is suitable for strollers, and there’s a playground along the way – great for a fun break with the kids.
Setting off from Pieve Marebbe, you can enjoy a number of especially beautiful walks to the hamlets of Brach, Ciaseles, Frontü and Biëi. From each hamlet, the next one is visible and easily reached by connecting tracks and roads, leaving you free to choose the best route to explore the amazing beauty of these landscapes and the architectural singularity of the hamlets.
The walk from Olang to Welsberg follows the picturesque bike path along the Olanger reservoir. This pleasant route takes about 1.5 hours and offers beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountain scenery. The path is well-maintained and suitable for both walkers and cyclists. The peaceful surroundings and fresh air make this walk a relaxing experience for the whole family.
Setting off from Pieve Marebbe, you can enjoy a number of especially beautiful walks to the hamlets of Cianorè, Biëi, Fordora, Frena and La Costa. From each hamlet, the next one is visible and easily reached by connecting tracks and roads, leaving you free to choose the best route to explore the amazing beauty of these landscapes and the architectural singularity of the hamlets.
Either from the village square via Valiares or from the Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, follow the Tres La Val trail up to the Spiaggetta Ciamaor park. Walk back taking the same route or turn right at the edge of the sports ground and follow the Tru dles Liondes trail which leads to the Nature Park House.
From Niederrasen (house Hölzl) > on the left side walk on the edge of the woods > foresty road > "Alte Goste".
From the Hotel Les Alpes on the small route to the middle station of the Piz de Plaies cable car. There, turn right and continue on the scenic path through green meadows to Sarjëi. From this path the route continues via a woodland path to the hamlet of Ju. For the return we recommend the route that goes to the mountain station of the Piz de Plaies cable car and then back to San Vigilio.
Walking past the barn underneath the church and across the bridge, a gravel road on the right runs south-west towards Frëina. Arrived in Frëina take the paved road on the left and walk about 300 m until you reach the crossing. Continue straight on towards Juvel (no. 9) and cross the bridge. Follow the forest road and, at the first bend next to the stream, turn right and head through the forest until you get to Pares, where the trail ends at the forest road (no. 5) to Medalghes. Go towards the mountains and at the first small crossing, turn right and walk until you get to the paved road. Take the left to Miscì and walk through the Val di Murins valley to the lime kiln. The route back leads to Lungiarü along the wood path.
SAN MARTIN › PICOLIN › GRAN JÚ - Trail no.21: From the village centre, follow the roadside pavement to Picolin. Turn right at the crucifix, walk past the chapel and continue uphill along the paved road on the right just after the bridge. After approx. 4 km you will reach the hamlet Jú: Pice Jú on your left and Gran Jú on your right. To the left of Gran Jú, a gravel road leads to Piz de Plaies.
This walk starts at the Strada Ciasé (opposite Garni Cristallo). Turn right at the Gran Pré business park and then continue until you reach the Ciasé farmstead. Walk slightly uphill to the Bella Vista Hotel Emma and return to San Vigilio on the roadside pavement.
This easy and relaxing hike starts in Oberolang and first heads toward the reservoir. Just before reaching it, turn right onto trail no. 39, which leads through open fields toward the Salla Farms. The return is via the same route.
A beautiful walk through the meadows and fields of Oberolang – perfect for a peaceful break in nature.
From the Miara cable car, walk along the road until you reach the first big left-turn hairpin bend. There, take a right onto the forest trail until you get to a small path which turns right again, descending through the forest. At the Torpëi farmstead, there are a number of options to return to the village which will take you back to the cable car. This walk can also be done the other way round.
From the Hotel Monte Paraccia the route signed “Torpëi › A Sorëdl” leads up to the drinking water reservoir. Continue right across a beautiful woodland path to Ciamaor. From there you return to San Vigilio on the path of legends

This hike starts at the Miara cable car. From there, the walk continues along the road to the hamlet of Val and on along the Costa woodland path. Return to San Vigilio via Ras.
From Niederrasen (Pfaffingerhöfe) > on the edge of the woods (circular path) to the hunting lodge (Jagdhaus) > Burgfriedenhof > turn on the chapel > ascent to the ruins of the Neurasen Castle.

The Rasun Nuova Castle in Oberrasen is privately owned and belongs to the Burgfrieder farm.
From the Hotel Monte Paraccia the path runs uphill to the hamlet of Torpëi. There you can enjoy the beautiful view of San Vigilio. The path continues past farm buildings. Return to the village via the hamlet of Pinëi.
Lake Antholz > on the main road (closed during the winter) to the Staller Saddle
Either from the village square via Valiares or from the Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, follow the Tres La Val trail up to the Spiaggetta Ciamaor park. Heading towards Tres La Val, walk on the right side of the stream starting from the Spiaggetta Ciamaor park and continue on to the next bridge just before Lé dla Creda. From there, it is another 10 minute walk. The route back to San Vigilio leads partly along the main road and partly along the walkway.
COL DL'ANCONA TRAIL (1650 m, H-R 35 min.)
The Col dl'Ancona circular trail is very easy and at the same time scenically interesting with beautiful views of the Val Badia, Monte Pütia and St. Martin. The route is also particularly suitable for families with small children and prams.
The circular trail starts at the mountain station of the Piz de Plaies lift on Col dl'Ancona and leads to the Alpinus Agriturism, from where a pleasant forest path leads back to Col dl'Ancona.
Setting off from opposite the water reservoir on Furcia Pass, follow the path marked no. 3 for approx. 15 minutes to the intersection, then continue following no. 12 signs to Ücia Picio Pré. (refreshments and sun terrace).
A relaxing walk connecting Niederolang to Oberolang – ideal for families and those who enjoy a peaceful stroll. The route passes through Mitterolang and quiet village paths.
In Niederolang, you'll pass a playground, and in Oberolang, a short detour leads to the Kids world – a fantastic play area for kids.
The Panorama restaurant is located along the way, perfect for a scenic break. The walk is flat and stroller-friendly.
Walk past the Miara cable car station and follow the road up to the hamlet Rara. Turn right onto forest path no. 1 which takes you to Passo Furcia, where a number of inns offer food and drinks. Take the same route to walk back. Alternatively to walking on the paved road, just behind the Chi Vai restaurant you can also take the pretty hiking trail which leads past the Riffa inn. After passing the eadows, you will find the path to the Spaces restaurant (stop here for food, drinks and a sun deck) on the left side at the edge of the forest. This route leads back to the main path (no. 1).
The path starts behind the church on the Furcia Pass (marked No. 1). After 45 minutes you
will reach the hut Ücia Bivacco, which offers catering and a sun terrace.
