Near the ski lifts of Braies Vecchio/Altprags begins the way with the mark No. 15 to the Malga Putz/Putzalm. At the beginning you walk between green meadows. At approximately 1,600-m height the road breaks off to a path well marked in the wood. Walking time: 2 hours Sign-post: No. 15
From the skislopes “Kameriot” turn left until “Buchsenriedl” and then further down to the alpine hut “Putzalm”. Continue on the trail until Sarlsattel peak. From there, turn left and continue until you reach the peak. Walking time: 3,5 hours Sign-post: no. 15, no. 16, no. 16A, no. 33 Challenge: very demanding, vertigo and slip resistance required!
The approximately 1,5 kilometer long lern-path is easily passable and pass by the fishpond of Bagni di Braies Vecchia/Bad Altprags. Along the path explain many informationsboards the main characteristics of the spring. Walking time: 1 hour Sign-post: No. 37
Leaving the town towards west, shortly before the gas station, turn right and go up until the Hotel "Schopfenhof". From there go straight ahead and you will pass several farms until arriving to Dobbiaco/Toblach. Return by bus or train. Otherwise you can also return on foot, starting from the train station in "Neutoblach" and following the bike route along the rails to San Candido/Innichen.
The "Grieswaldile" is a large park with Toblach's largest playground. It offers recreational opportunities, playgrounds and exciting equipment, as well as a small pond.

The hiking trail offers a wonderful view of Dobbiaco and leads past the Leitnstöckl chapel. The chapel is of great historical importance as it is one of the plague sticks and is reminiscent of the time of the Black Death in the Alps. The path leads through Dobbiaco and the sunny faction Wahlen.
Suitable for pushchairs
The Knieberg juts out a little from the Carnic Ridge extending south-eastwards from the peak of the Helm, offering outstanding views both of the Sexten Dolomites to the south-east and down into the Cadore-Piavetal valley. This trail still bears many traces of the First World War.
Kandellen/Gandelle is located above Toblach/Dobbiaco with a beautiful view of the village and the Dolomites.
This family hike is above all something special for animal lovers, as it leads directly next to the Altschluderbach animal park and also offers the opportunity to visit it directly. Native animal species such as deer, wild boar, roe deer, native birds and the like are kept there, but because of the large area and the location in the forest, they enjoy complete freedom.

The Fountain "ZweiWasserBrunnen" and the Labyrinth are part of the Water treasures of Dobbiaco/Toblach.
At the Fountain "ZweiWasserBrunnen" you can taste the two waters of Dobbiaco/Toblach.

This hike leads from the village center of Dobbiaco to the Aufkirchen campaign group, this path is considered moderately difficult. From Aufkirchen, a short path behind the Hotel Kirchenwirt takes you to Neunhäusler and finally from there, either in a westerly direction to Niederdorf or in an easterly direction to Dobbiaco. The hike is on the sunny side of Dobbiaco and offers an incredible panorama of the Dolomites. It is especially recommended for families.
The walk over the broad gravel way to the “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” begins behind the “maso Steinwandter/Steinwandterhof” at S. Vito/St. Veit. At the advancement over the height way you have a great view on the green meadows and idyllic Braies Lake with its emerald-green water! The “Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm” is uninhabited. Walking time: 1 hour
The new footpath in the Nature Park Fanes-Senes-Braies, where you can find one of the most beautiful source of the country. The “way of sources” is also a part of the footpath nr. 37 and easy to go. On the way you can find some wooden information-points, where the flora and the fauna are described, as well as the of drinking water. It’s werth to visit the Maite, the name of the sources.
The Sexten circular trail can be started anywhere in Sexten. A short but very beautiful hike that is ideal for exploring the Sexten Valley and for gaining a very good first impression. The entire trail is marked with the number 1. The Sexten circular trail leads past farms

This hiking trail starts in Santa Maria, a hamlet of Dobbiaco and leads to Monte Rota. From there you have a breathtaking view of Dobbiaco, the lake of Dobbiaco, lake of landro up to the end of the Valle di Landro in Carbonin. There is also a place to stop at the summit hotel. The way back goes towards Valle San Silvestro.

Along the river Rienz, accompanied by the rushing oft the water, you reach the mini zoo „Camping Olympia“. Here you can see animals from very close. After crossing the state road and walking on a small ascent, you can admire the „Bad Maistatt“. The drinking spot behind the buildng is still in use today.
From Niederdorf/Villabassa, this varied hiking trail takes you past the parish church, along the slightly ascending Eggerberg Street to the bend after the "Brandhäusl" (trail no. 45). Here you turn left onto the forest path and follow it to the farm "Thaler". The path then runs almost flat in a westerly direction to farm "Kleinsinner". From there, continue along the road to the breathtaking “Schöne Aussicht” at 1,460 m - a perfect place to enjoy the landscape and recharge your batteries.
