The hike to the Lückeleschartl/Forcella del Lago is very beautiful. It passes at the Schafalm hut (closed) and at the lake Mitteralpsee/Lago Malga di Mezzo. Both points invate to a short break. From the Lückeleschartl you have a lovely view on the Three Peaks and the surrounding mountains.

The path of meditation, created in 1996, leads over several stations, which consist of granite blocks with bronze reliefs. The meditation trail to the Chapel " St. Peter am Kofel" is one of the oldest religious sancturary in the area. The chapel was originally built as a refuge for individual priests during the Migration Period. It was first mentioned in a document in 1329.

The Paul Grohmann path is a hike in a picturesque, tranquil valley far from major tourism centres. In 1869 first climbers Paul Grohmann, Peter Salcher and Franz Innerkofler used this path to conquer the Große Zinne/Cima Grande.
From Brückele/Ponticello you turn right before the bridge across the river onto a forest path; at the chapel turn right again to Postmeisteralm/Malga Posta, continue upwards until shortly before the Portella/Törl) and along the western slope to the summit. Alternative: departure from alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” from the alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” upwards to Kuhglättenpinggl; continue in a northerly direction to the big Val Cavallo/gr. On June 7, 1915, Monte Piana was taken by Austrian soldiers and fortified despite Italian resistance. A little later, the Italians managed to take its southern side. Since the border between Italy and the Habsburg Monarchy of Austria-Hungary ran right through Monte Piana, both sides wanted to hold onto this strategically important mountain. A bloody trench warfare lasting two years followed, which was ultimately not to bring about any decisive change.

The hike to Pfannhorn/Corno Fana is particularly recommendable because of the mountain panorama. As the mountain is already in the main Alpine crest you have a breathtaking view of all the famous Dolomite peaks, the Ortler group and the Ötztaler Alps. On the summit there is a panorama map on which all the mountains are signed.
The hike to the Forcella dei Baranci/Birkenschartl offers a beautiful view on the Three Peaks and the surrounding mountains.
The 5 chapels (15th century) representing scenes from the Passion of Christ. Together with the former "Görz" chapel in the parish church and the circular chapel in Lerschach, they form the so-called "Calvary Mountain" pilgrimage road. The chapel was built to commemorate the fallen in the war against the Republic of Venice. The Way of the Cross is 1200 feet long, the exact length of Jerusalem's, and was built by Emperor Maximilian in 1519.
On the top of the Strudelkopf/Monte Specie there is located a viewing platform which indicates all the names of the mountain ranges and the mountain summits visible all round.

From Pragser Wildsee lake towards the eastern shore, turn left on a forestry road to a trail which branches off on adventurous exposed walls by the “Zwölf Apostel/Dodici Apostoli” notch leads. From there it goes on to “Weißlahn/Lavina Bianca”. Curvy and platy rocks to get to the ridge and after a somewhat exposed traverse put on the final path to the summit. The Marchkinkele/Cornetto di Confine offers a beautiful view over the Pustertal /Val Pusteria valley and the Dolomites. The Marchhütte/Rifugio March hut is located just below the summit.

Quite difficult, but very beautiful hike, starting from the Val Campo di Dentro/Innerfeldtal Valley in the middle of the unique Three Peaks Nature Park. The path until the destination Three Peaks is entirely on the Alpine Dolomites Hiking Path No. 4. At arrival on Rifugio Locatelli/Drei-Zinnen-Hütte Mountain Hut you will have a stunning view of the Three Peaks.
Hut situated in the heart of the Dolomites, sorrounded by meadows and an impressive mountain backdrop. Go on the west bank of the lake to the south-east end of the lake, then up into “Buco Giavo/Nabiges Loch”, continue to the “Porta Sora al Forn”, and turn right to the “Törl” and the Rifugio Biella/Seekofelhütte. Continue on the wide hiking-way along slightly uphill through pastures and down to the alpine hut “Rifugio Senes/Senneshütte”. Walking time: 4,5 hours Mark: no. 1; no. 6A Difficulty: very demanding
The Open Air Museum on the Monte Piano of the First World War is one of the most important witness of the battles between Austria and Italy in the years 1915-1917. It consists of trench warfares, tunnels and emplacements.
The hike starts at the Vista Tre Cime and continues through the Valle di Rienza up to what is probably the most famous peak in the Dolomites, up to the Locatelli hut, from which you have an optimal view of the Three Peaks. The hike is considered a challenging alternative to the hiking trails from Misurina and the Fondovalle-hut of Sesto.
