In the wintertime, the Getrumalm is a popular destination for snowshoe hikers and ski tour enthusiasts. Both in the wintertime and in the summer, the Getrumalm is highly regarded as a destination by locals and many Sarentino Valley guests. It's not for nothing that the Getrum Hut was included in the "Guida Espresso 2016."

The mountain hut Moschwaldalm is located on 1,750m height a little off the hiking area Merano 2000 in a quiet, sunny location with wonderful views.

Traditional cuisine with a touch of internationality defines our restaurant Zum Weißen Rössl. In the morning a rich breakfast buffet awaits you: croissants, a selection of various breads, cheese, cold cuts, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli... At lunch and dinner our head chef surprises you with fresh traditional dishes from Sarntal.

Our cosy bar on the ground floor is open from morning until evening . The cosy ambience inside the bar and the spacious sun terrace invite you to linger.

Join us at our sun terrace or in the cozy bar and dining room from 11:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. for South Tyrolean specialties and Mediterranean and international dishes. Great emphasis is placed on freshness of ingredients and local products. Different daily specials on offer according to season. In the morning, guests can savor a delightful breakfast in a warm atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will gladly prepare a hearty Marende with local bacon, smoked sausage and spicy cheeses. The Schönau inn is ideal for those seeking a special and exceptional place for birthday, family or business celebrations.

Our mountain hut was built in the year 2000, and you can find us on the red slope of San Cassiano (no. 12). We prepare homemade local dishes, offer gluten-free options, and the traditional "Kaiserschmarrn." We are accessible from the red slope of San Cassiano, the sledding track, as well by foot from San Cassiano in about an hour, starting from the valley station of Piz Sorega. Once a week, we organize a dinner at the hut by reservation, with transport provided by snow cat. On December 31st, we also organize a New Year's Eve dinner, again on reservation. Our team will be pleased to be at your disposal to meet your needs in the best possible way. We are open 7 days a week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
